Kimolos, Feel Like Robinson Crusoe.

Kimolos is a small, quiet and rather beautiful island. One of the most interesting places is Agios Nikolaos, a quiet beach with minimal accommodation, to which the "wires", the places carved in the rock where the locals keep their boats in winter, give extra points of picturesqueness. In the morning, the visitor can also take a swim in Prassa, before they stop for excellent fish appetizers in Prasonisi, or enjoy the sea in Kalamitsi. There is a must to have excellent homemade food in the tavern on the beach. The island of Kimolos is ideal for long walks and trekking on its paths. From the village, for example, one can go down on foot to the rocks of Goupa for diving. And from there it is possible to walk to Agios Nikolaos.

It is worth a yacht rent, whether one needs a pilot's license or not, and head to Gamba, for diving in deep blue waters and snorkeling in the caves, in privacy with friends or family. By car (the road may exhibit some level of difficulty in driving) or by boat one will easily be on the beach. And of course a swim in Polyaigo is necessary. The landscape of the particular place does not exist anywhere else: turquoise waters, white sand and in the background steep cliffs where hawks nest. If a person can spend the night there, they will really feel like Robinson Crusoe.
