The Vaganova Method Ballet Dance

The well known ballet dance or classical dance is a type of dance, which has its historical roots back in the 15th century Italy. It later evolved into its stage form, mainly in France and Russia. In its early form, the use of sets was absent and took place in large meeting rooms, where spectators occupied seats in front of and on either side of the stage. Since then ballet dance has evolved into a type of dance of high technical requirements, with its own terminology and structural composition. The musical accompaniment is mainly from the repertoire of classical music, while many composers have written music specifically for this purpose. Ballet is taught in schools around the world. The ballet dance itself is defined in its steps and movements, as part of a process called choreography, which in turn is performed by professionals in the field and includes other forms of artistic expression, such as acting and mimicry. It is considered one of the most advanced arts, which requires many years of practice to reach a professional level.

The Vaganova System of ballet dance helps the dancer to develop a strong torso, achieves muscle flexibility and elongation of movement, gives a high jump giving the illusion of swinging, combining strength with the grace of the hands which other methods do not use with the same way. The Vaganova Technique creates dancers who, using their arms, legs and torso in perfect harmony, are distinguished all over the world.
