Hot Spots Near Rhodes Resorts

Rhodes is one of the largest Greek islands and one of the most popular tourist destinations internationally for decades. Rhodes is the island of contrasts and its beauty lies precisely in these contrasts. In the cosmopolitan rhodes resorts and deserted beaches, the picturesque villages that tourism does not seem to have touched, and the castle towns of Rhodes and Lindos.

The heart of Rhodes beats in the magnificent Medieval City. Within its walls, you will experience your most beautiful days and nights on the island. Thousands of visitors pass through its gates every day for endless walks in the alleys, a visit to the colorful "bazaar" of Socrates, a visit to the Grand Master's Palace and the museums, quality seafood in restaurants with history and bars until the final stop in Miltiadou street.

Closer to the most rhodes resorts on the east side is Kallithea with its wonderful thermal baths, the Italian buildings were renovated with respect for tradition and the environment and the amazing view.

Next stop is to Archangelos, a picturesque village with hospitable inhabitants. A glass of ouzo in the village square will relax you and you will be impressed by the Archangelic language idiom reminiscent of Cyprus. Haraki is a wonderful pebbly beach between Archangelos and Lindos. There you will find fresh fish in small restaurants by the sea.

For sure, the first place personnel in the Rhodes resorts you are staying will advise you to visit is the famous village of Lindos with the legendary Acropolis and the ruins of the temple of Lindia Athena. A stroll through the picturesque narrow streets with all kinds of shops and then a swim on its busy beach.
